Introduction

FuelSignal, Inc., doing business as Oodles and/or Oodle (“Oodles” or “Oodle” or “Oodles Rewards” or “We” or “Us” or “Our”) has created this Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) in order to disclose its use of consumer data collected about you. Your privacy is important to us and we are committed to protecting the privacy of your information. This Privacy Policy is effective as of January 1, 2014. The following discloses Oodles information gathering and dissemination practices for its marketing website located at “www.OodlesRewards.com, as well as its mobile applications, and or any other software applications related to the sites (collectively, the “service”). Collectively but not limited too all merchants featured and/or seen in any of our services (“The Retailer Network” or “Retailer Network” or “Oodles Retailers” or “Oodles Retailers” or “Retailers” or “Partner Retailers” or “Merchants” or “ Partner Merchants”).

We may modify this Privacy Policy at any time. When changes are made we will notify you by means of notice on the Oodles service prior to changes become effective. You can determine when this Privacy Policy was last revised by referring to the date it was “Last Updated” above.
BY INSTALLING, USING OR OTHERWISE ACCESSING THE APPLICATION FROM ANY DEVICE, MOBILE OR OTHERWISE, YOU ARE AGREEING TO ABIDE BY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY. Information Collected and Received

Oodles may collect or receive information about each person who registers with the Oodles website or mobile applications and other software applications related to the sites including, but not limited to, user name, password, first and last name, email address, street address, gender, occupation, and interests. Oodles also collects information on the pages you access and other information you may volunteer, such as survey information. If you choose to upload a photo to your profile, please be aware that other users of the site may view this. If you wish to remove your picture from your profile, simply login and select “account settings” to delete it.  If you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about our site or ask them to participate, we will ask you for your friend’s email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site. We store this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email and tracking the success of our referral program.

Uses of Information

Oodles site’s registration form requires users to give Oodles contact information (such as your name and email address) and demographic information (such as your zip code, or age). Oodles uses customer contact information from the registration form to send the user information about Oodles and promotional material from some of Oodles partners. Oodles will send out any emails to the users, if necessary, for the promotional materials. Oodles does not share this information with our partners or distributors. The customer’s contact information is also used to contact the user when necessary and allow users to interact on the site with others through messages or comments as well as make purchases. Oodles may use demographic and/or profile data to tailor the visitor’s experience on Oodles site and/or any other mobile applications that you may use to show the visitor content that Oodles thinks you may be interested in, and display content according to your preferences. The demographic and profile data will be shared with third parties ONLY on an aggregate basis. 
 Furthermore, Oodles shall have the right to retain records of all data pertaining to use of the website, mobile applications, or any other software including, but not limited to, usage, activity logs, and click-trough’s. Oodles may disclose such data to third parties provided it is grouped with other Oodles user’s data and is presented in an aggregate form. You can use the service without registering, however, you may not be able to use certain features of the service such as gas discounts, sweepstakes, drawings, giveaways, etc. Oodles may automatically collect information about you when you use the service regardless of its website or through mobile device, we will automatically collect information such as device ID, device type, geo-location information, mileage tracking etc. If you use the service through a mobile device and don’t want us to track or collect your geo-location then you may change your preferences through “Settings” of the Oodles mobile application. However, if you select your preference for us to not collect your mileage tracking or geo-location information, then you may limit some of the feature of the service such as automatic reminder when fuel is below the threshold or find the “Nearest Gas Station with Discount”.

Security of Personal Information

We will not share, sell, rent or trade your personal information with third parties other than as disclosed within this privacy policy. Except as described in this section, we will not disclose your personal information to any third party without notifying you of our intent to share the information and giving you an opportunity to prevent your information from being shared. From time to time, we may partner with companies based on the interests and feedback of our users in additional items for purchase. These partner companies will never see your email address or any other information that could identify you or be used to contact you directly. Oodles reserves the right to disclose information when required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process. When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request. 

 We occasionally use other companies to perform services necessary to our operations such as credit card processing, sending emails to you on our behalf or customer support. In the course of providing these services, those companies may have access to your personal information. By contractual agreement, those companies must treat your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. However, we will not be liable for any damages that may result from the misuse of your personal information by these companies. Oodles may use your IP address to help diagnose problems with Oodles server and to administer Oodles web site. Your IP address may also be used to help identify you and your online profile and to gather broad demographic information. We may also disclose, on an anonymous basis, statements made by our customers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, you will be notified via email and/or prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.

 

 

Social Networks

By logging in to the Service through a third party social networking service, such as but not limited too Facebook, Google, and/or Twitter (collectively will be referred to as “Social Services” or “Social Networks” or “Social Sign-in” or “Social Login”), you give us permission to access, store and use any information that you permit the applicable third party social networking service to share with us in accordance with the privacy settings that are applicable to your account with that social networking service. Information that we receive from third party social networking service is stored and used by us in accordance with this Privacy Policy. The Oodles Site or mobile applications may allow users to access Social Services to interact with friends and to share on Social Networks through their Wall and friends’ News Feeds. If you are already logged into Oodles and a Social Network, when you click on “Connect with Facebook/Google +/Twitter” you will be prompted to merge your profiles. If you are already logged into Oodles but not logged into Facebook/Twitter, when you click on “Connect with Facebook/Twitter” you will be prompted to enter your Facebook/Twitter credentials or to “Sign up for Facebook/Twitter.” By proceeding, you are allowing the Oodles Site to access your information and you are agreeing to the Facebook/ Google +/ Twitter or any other Social Network’s Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy in your use of the Oodles Site. Conversely, if you are not currently registered as a Oodles user and you click on “Sign in Using Facebook/Twitter,” you will first be asked to enter your Facebook/Twitter credentials and then be given the option to register and join Oodles. Once you register on the Oodles site and Connect with Facebook/Twitter, you will be able to automatically post recent activity back to Facebook/ Google +/ Twitter. You have the option to disable Facebook/Twitter Connect at any time by logging into your profile and clicking on “My Facebook/Twitter Profile.” Further, you can edit privacy settings for the reviews that appear on Facebook/Twitter or disconnect this service by visiting the Facebook/Twitter Application Settings page.

Collection of Information by Third Parties

If you visit the Service from a third-party website the third-party website may give you a unique code, cookie or graphic which will uniquely identify you. This will only happen if you link directly from a third party website to the Service. Your activities on the Service while this type of code is active may be reported back to the third party website. The presence of a third party navigation bar at the top of a webpage is an indication that the third party website may be able to see your activity on the Service. We may also provide social media features through the Service that enable you to share information with your social networks and to interact with the Service on various social media sites. Your use of these features may result in the collection or sharing of information about you by these sites, depending on the feature. We encourage you to review the privacy policies and settings on the social media sites with which you interact to make sure you understand the information that may be collected, used, and shared by those sites. 

 The Service may include third-party advertising, links to other websites, and other content from third-party businesses. These third-party websites, businesses, and advertisers, or advertising companies working on their behalf, may use web beacons and cookies to measure the effectiveness of their ads, personalize or optimize advertising content and to track users who click on the links made available through the Service. We do not have access to or control over web beacons or cookies that these third parties may use. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

 

Disclosure of Information to Third Parties

Oodles hates spam as much as you do. Oodles does not sell, rent or lease your information to third parties for any of their marketing purposes. However, Oodles may disclose your information to the following third parties (but not limited too): Our Retailer Network Third Party Service Providers Companies that Acquire Our Business or Assets Our Affiliates Aggregate Information Law Enforcement Authorities.

 

Security of Service

Oodles uses industry-standard technologies when transferring and receiving consumer data exchanged between Oodles and other companies to help ensure its security both during transmission and once we receive it. This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under Oodles’ control. Oodles’ servers are backed up regularly and protected by security systems. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card number) on our order forms, we encrypt the transmission of that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL).

 

Cookies

Cookies & quote are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive or mobile phones. Oodles mobile application, website, or software uses cookies to keep track of your session, shopping cart, and advertising delivery. Oodles may also use cookies to deliver content specific to your interests and to save your password so that you do not have to enter it each time. We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personal information you submit while on our site. 

Oodles may use an outside ad company to display ads on across all Oodles site including its mobile application. These ads may also contain cookies. While Oodles uses cookies in other parts of Oodles’ web site including mobile applications, cookies received with banner ads are collected by Oodles’ ad company and Oodles does not have access to this information.

The use of cookies by our partners, external affiliates, or tracking utility companies is not covered by our privacy policy. We do not have access or control over these cookies.

 

Messages & Ratings

You have the option to send email messages to other users of the site. You should be aware that any information you provide in these areas might be read, collected, and used by others who you interact with. To request removal of your personal information from these areas of the site, contact us at privacy@Oodles.com. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personal information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why. 
If you choose to use the Ratings feature that we have then you are able to rate the service you received from the retailer or service provider. These will show up anonymously so that other users are able to determine if a product or service has high or low ratings.

 

Comments

Users are allowed to post comments to products or service that they have purchased as well as about other users. Please be aware that anything you post on any of the Oodles operated site or applications may include your first and last name depending on how you set up your signature and may be viewable by other users of the site. If you wish to request removal of your information from comments, please contact us at privacy@Oodles.com.

 

Access to Personal Information

If your personal information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, update or delete inaccuracies by making the change within the account settings section of the site or by emailing us at privacy@Oodles.com. We will respond to your access request within 30 days. We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services contact us at privacy@Oodles.com. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Links

Oodles may create links to other web sites or mobile applications. Oodles will make a reasonable effort to link only to sites that meet similar standards for maintaining each individual’s right to privacy. However, many other sites that are not associated or authorized by Oodles may have links leading to Oodles’ site. Oodles cannot control these links and Oodles is not responsible for any content appearing on these sites.

 

Amendments

Oodles may amend this policy at any time to reflect changes to our information practices. If Oodles is going to use personally identifiable information collected through Oodles’ corporate site or Oodles mobile applications in a manner materially different from that stated at the time of collection then Oodles will notify users via email (sent to the e-mail address specified in your account) or by means a notice on Oodles’ Web site for thirty (30) days prior to such change becoming effective. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices. This Privacy Policy may not be otherwise amended except in a writing that specifically refers to this Privacy Policy and is physically signed by both parties.

If we become aware that a user is under the age of thirteen (13) and has submitted information to the Service without verifiable parental consent, we will remove his or her information from our files.
